bat ban list
Is there an official bat ban list for senior softball?
If so, where would I find such a list? Thanks!

Tater,
Each association (ASA, SSUSA, SPA, etc.) has their own list. You will need to each site.

I know of no Banned Bat List for SSUSA.

The only 2 you can't swing: Ultra I and the Rip It Elite.

That's been my understanding and hope someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.

SSUSA does not have a formal "banned bat list", but rather an "Approved Bat Standard" ... Simply, any bat that is marked as meeting the 1.20 BPF standard is allowable in SSUSA sanctioned events ... Two of the bats mentioned, the original Mike Ultra (grey) and the yellow Rip-It do not meet that standard and, accordingly are not allowable ... There may be others, but in essence the "1.20 BPF" designation is the key ... Hope this helps ...
