Oct. 14, 2008 SSUSA Staff 3490 posts | SSUSA does not have a formal "banned bat list", but rather an "Approved Bat Standard" ... Simply, any bat that is marked as meeting the 1.20 BPF standard is allowable in SSUSA sanctioned events ... Two of the bats mentioned, the original Mike Ultra (grey) and the yellow Rip-It do not meet that standard and, accordingly are not allowable ... There may be others, but in essence the "1.20 BPF" designation is the key ... Hope this helps ... |
