60 in 09: left-handed pitcher searching for team
I live in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Looking for AA/AAA team. Pretty good pitcher; 600-700 base hitter, 1b,catch, EH. Just love to play.
formerly coach of Scrap Iron 50's which has disbanded.

Hey GaSoftball, I was the oldest on my team (Scrap Iron) by far. Most were 50 to 53. I turn 60 in August 09. I regret that I am not familiar with any outfielders who are not already signed with other teams or are interested in tournaments.

I am dependable; you can count on me to always show up ahead of time. I played 3 nights a week this past year. Pitched 90% of the time. Struck out 36 batters--only 4 were seniors though. Hard to strke out wily veterans. Good attitude; team player.

Hey Robert, you're still just a kid, so you will have to stay down and play with the 50's! Wish you could move up; enjoyed having you on my team for sure. You are the best. Thanks

Hey GaSoftball, just wondering if there had been any new developments with your team. These threads get bumped down very quickly, so did not know if you had even been back on lately.

Robert, was just wondering of you had heard from John?

Hey Firebird380hp, hope everything is well Robert. I found out what was wrong with my ankle/foot the past 2 years. It was broken, then the ligaments were torn Oct. 07. The ligaments had started re-attaching to the broken pieces of bone. I had surgery this past Monday. Have you talked to Mike and Mark lately?
