Warm-up tourney in Birmingham
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. I have read several comments in another thread concerning my usual tournament in Birmingham prior to the opening tourney in Montgomery.
I certainly appreciate your interest and I did want to assure you that I am working on it already.
It would even help if teams who are interested in participating could now start giving me an idea of your interest.

Southpaw puts on a good warm up tourneyment. He uses good shark balls. The fields and umps. are good. What I like is the softball field is right off Interstate 65 in Birmingham.

Hey Joe and Robert, thanks for your kind and supportive words. I have already had contact from several teams in the Birmingham area, as well as a Florida team and Georgia team.
It will not be a big tournament, but I am hoping for 12 to 16 teams--1 day, not bad. Have some fun and pass a good time! Right, Joe?

Hey Misty, yes, as a matter of fact, I have had some very good ladies tourneys in the past. However, they have primarily been with younger age groups--not seniors.
If you are aware of any teams--senior or non-senior, please give me a call.
It would be great to include a ladies segment on the same day as the senior men. It looks like that date will be Saturday, March 7. Thanks
