Homerun Hitters/Bats/Defense
A couple of thoughts and questions.

Why do we keep the present hot bats if you are so worried about pitchers health and safety.

Legitimate homerun hitters will still hit the ball out of the park with a ASA legal bat or a bat that is not deemed "hot".

A good hitter get on base without a homerun and is always a tough out.

Has the defense been put back in the game with the new homerun rule.

Will these new rules change the game.

Should everyone use the same bat and the playing field would be completely level, your major+, major, and AAA, would earn their ranking at the plate the old fashioned way, "being a good hitter", not just a homerun hitter.

Do we need to increase the ballfields from 300 to 325, if we do, why? I just don't get the mindset.

Before you reply give some thought to your reply, and why the need for change.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.
