2009 World dates
Partial 2009 tournament list has been posted. Are the dates for the 50-60 divisions correct for the World,Winter Nationals & Winter Worlds? They are listed as starting on Sunday and finishing on Tuesday. If this is correct, why new starting days?

Wow! I guess that means those of us that are not retired need to take even more time off. Another brilliant move,

Not sure which list you guys are looking at, but my computer shows Friday to Sunday for each of those tournaments for 50's and 60's.

Chances are you were right, look at the CA State Chanpionship, it's moved FROM Placer TO YOLO county.

For those of us with limited funds, having the Western Nationals in Salt Lake City (August 7 - 9) and the California State Championships in Yolo County (Aug 14 16) on back to back weekends could short change one of the major tournaments. Just an observation.

We all have limited funds. Having these two tournaments so close together will affect BOTH in regards to the number of teams entered. Why move the Western Nationals any later than it has been?
