Phoenix weekend BP?
Let's give this another try now that it's dried out some. Anyone up for some BP this weekend? If so, let me know where and when? New to area and looking to make contact with 50+ players.

Assuming it doesn't rain again, we'll hitting this Sunday (02/15/2009). We'll be hitting at Foothills Park and The starting time is 7:45 AM.

If it's just me, then I'll be hitting off a tee until my hands bleed, and then try again next Sunday.

Foothills Park is located North of Union Hills Ave at 57th Ave. The road (57th Ave) to the park from Union Hills is blocked, so you'll have to snake through the neighborhood to get to there. Alternatively you can go North on 59th Avenue to Utopia, then head East and then drop South on 57th Ave to get to the park. Sometimes the fields at Foothills are locked up. If that happens, the plan is to automatically head on down to Cactus Park. Cactus Park is located on the South side of Cactus Ave between 38th and 40th Ave. As far as I know, the fields there cannot be locked, but are NOT quite as nice as the fields at Foothills Park, and do NOT have fences.

c/ya,
Mike

Now that I have somewhere to hit on Sunday ... Anyone up for some BP on Saturday? It's been late October since I last swung a bat and I'm jones'n in the worst way. Weather turned foul and my KC bp pals both went down with joint replacement surgery about that time.

That's it. If your coming West on the 101- take the 59th Ave exit, drop south to Utopia, turn east to 57th, and then drop South a quarter mile or so to the park on your left.
