Calling All Hitters
OK Hitters. Help is needed. I'm a 6'2" 215lb 50+ linedrive hitter with occassional HR power who has broken his last U2. I'm looking for other ideas and am considering the Synergy+ or the Catalyst. All suggestions appreciated

Thanks Bruce. I play in the Florida Half Century League which is currently ISA. What's your take on the Synergy+ and Catalyst?

I hit a prototype Catalyst at the Smoky Mtn Classic last year and didn't like it. I was told that it had 1000 swings on it. I still have a Synergy +, 28 oz and it hits good. Our team was picked by Miken so I can't use it now. It probably would have been my bat for 2005 for NSA, ISA and USSSA.

Burdman, the Synergy+ does have some GOOD pop in it.
With the core47 / comp525 balls you could hit them out of the park.
I have not hit the 44/375.
The Crush has some good pop also but seems to dent.

From what I am hearing the Catalyst is the most durable composite bat around. It has yet to be determined how hot it is. I hope it turns out to be a good lively bat with good durablity. It is crazy to have a bat break or dent with a few hundred swings. Bat companies do not want bat durability. They want you to buy as many bats as possible.

It's my opinion the Worth PST is the most durable bat made today. They have teriffic pop. 350+ is no problem, though the bat has more of a linedrive makeup. It's definately the most expensive bat out there. 2 year warranty. I won't swing anything else. I guess I should get Worth to sponsor us! Have a great year, gentlemen.

Guys, thanks for your input and if anyone else has anymore ideas I'm open. We are using 44/375 balls and if I can hit 310-315ft shots with the bats you guys suggested as opposed to the 320-330ft shots with U2 I'll be more than satisfied. Thanks again.
