Las Vegas May 16th and 17th who's coming
Anyone coming to this? I heard that Demolition, and NCI were looking at this along with a local 55 team. A bunch of us in Las Vegas are putting an exhibition team in that's 4. Tournament I believe will be at the Cheyenne fields. Two weeks before Reno this would be a good tuneup.

Much better tournament in Prescott, Az. Much nicer fields too. Cheyenne has lightpoles in the middle of the outfield.

Nope, it's Cheyenne. Next to the community college. Middle field.

LVSSA used to do a good job but has gone downhill the last few yrs. Poor fields, no maintenance bad umping and bad schedules. No wonder few teams participate.

Thanks for the encouragement. This is not an LVSSA event it is being run by a friend out of Phoenix who is being kind enough to try and get the residents of Las Vegas some exercise as well as outside teams who might want a weekend in Vegas. It is advertised under the SSUSA umbrella but I believe that is about it. WOW this is not going to be a high turnout we were hoping for 6-8 teams. Like every other community in the United States Las Vegas has a wide variety of seniors. As Dirty so often notes most senior softballers don't play tournaments. We are trying to get some of these seniors some games. As a matter of fact my team has a firefighter who can't travel, and your fellow seniors rehabbing from a wide variety of injuries including hip replacement and cancer. Poor fields and all that is all we have at the moment. WOW and Dave how about just wishing us luck and hope we enjoy ourselves. We deserve a recreational opportunity as much as both of you quite firing pot shots without all the facts.

If it's an open rostered event and the word is spread you shouldn't have a problem getting that many teams. I think you should have started a little earlier though getting the work out.
Good luck.
