Congratulations to Kaysons Grille
Just wanted to congratulate Kaysons Grille on winning the SSUSA Spring Nationals AAA Championship in Lakeland.

It was a pleasure to compete with you in the finals....your team showed class, poise, and maturity at the plate in winning the championship.

We are a new team, a self-sponsored group (Florida Classics) and this was our first SSUSA National together. We beat many teams ranked above us, but just couldn't close the door.

Congratulations Kaysons Grille, 2009 SSUSA Spring National Champs.

I'll also offer congrats to the Kaysons team. They've added a few young guys to an already good team and should do well this year.
They've also added a couple of older guys. :)

Don I hope we play against ya'll and Kayson's. It's great to play against good ball players. See ya'll Sat. The wife and I are arriving Friday morning in Pensacola. She's got pretty much money in these bats that I hit with and you have to let her see what the bats can do at the plate. I'm trying to get her to hang out with the Cajun.

Hi Corky,
There really is no secret. Until the Fall Nationals we never won a major tournament. Even in the Fall Nationals it was not a very strong tournament. We did well in the tournaments but never finished first or even second in a tournament that had more than four teams. We qualified for the tournament of champions in the southern regionals twice and they had four teams there each time. I'm assumming we will be moved up to major now since we won the Spring Nationals. No one will complain about that either. We always said we would at least like to win a major tournament before moving up. We should be moved up now. You guys won two major tournaments last year I think and that is why they moved you up. You guys are a great team and we enjoyed playing you. Good luck the rest of the season.

Sorry I forgot to add we did place 2nd this year in the Tournament of Champions took the Tuson Bandits to the if game then got clobbered by them. They are a very good team. I love the "ME" "ME" "ME" thing they do. I'm going to steal that from them and use it when we play. We also won the Marietta tournament but those were mostly local teams except Pinehurst. We love playing those guys. Good group of players and we always give each other fits when we play. I think we are even with them or they may be one up on us now. What is it Brian are you guys one up? Monty Blair will know he has all that information stuffed in his head someplace.

SAG.........Me Me Me All about ME! Congratulations guys on a big win. The Bandits really enjoy saying that to ANYONE who hits a solo shot. But then again we enjoy getting on each other as much as we can. Good luck to you guys.

Steve looks like we want be playing down in the 50's. It's nice to see the 50's have 12 pretty good teams. I guess the 55's will be slim in our area
this year. I hope I get a chance to pull out my ultra 2 maxload. It depends on the wind and the balls. I'll see you and Monty in Pensacola.

Hey SAG and 400. I play for the Bandits and I got to tell you we really do have a great group of guys and we really do have fun. You Kayson guys are a great group of guys. And yea the me thing is really good cause when someone hits a solo we just get on him without mercy. As we won the winter worlds in Vegas in November we qualified for the TOC in February, 2010 as a 50 major. If you guys get moved up looked forward to playing you again. I'll be the little lefty limping around in left field chasing your b-b's off the fence. Have a good summer of softball. Stay healthy. Randy
