May 26, 2009 Harri Men's 70 65 posts | Which fields at Schaumburg, Illinois????? Hey out there...we are taking two teams to the Midwest Championships (a 60 & 65 team). Tried to find out from Sacramento which fields the two teams would play on...& basically got the run-a-round. Want to make motel arrangements and would like to stay close to where we play. Anyone have any information that could help us. |

May 27, 2009 MikeC Men's 60 38 posts | We are also looking for field assignments as some of the traffic can be pretty bad in that area so want the hotel closest to the fields. Fossils 60 Major team. Called then early last week and they were working on it but still nothing. |

May 27, 2009 Harri Men's 70 65 posts | Hey guys...one of our players called today and was told that our 65 team would be playing at the Schaumburg fields. Would still like to know about the 60's. |
May 27, 2009 Harri Men's 70 65 posts | Our 65's "social director" will be going through priceline for our rooms. He usually gets a great deal, but the risks are rainouts, which did happen to us at a previous tournament. By any chance have any of you booked through SSUSA...if so whay kind of prices did you get. Thanks |

May 28, 2009 grumpy55 Men's 60 102 posts | Don't know if this helps at all but I had heard they are are only using the Berens fields on Friday. That park has 5 fields, Itasca has 2 fields and the Schaumburg park has 5 fields for those not familiar with any of these. Good luck getting any info. |

May 29, 2009 geezer#6 Men's 70 58 posts | Hey all, You can google earth and put addresses in, then you will see where all complexs are located. They are approx 10 to 15 mins from each other. But schaumburg would be the ideal choice for Hotel reservations. Berens sports complex is in Elmhurst not to much around it but residental. Itasca complex is about the same situation. Good luck Jerry Geezer6 |
May 30, 2009 Harri Men's 70 65 posts | Motel Info: Hey Corky...I will try not to stutter this time. Our Budweiser 65's "social director" got a great deal on rooms near Schaumburg fields. He went through priceline and got a 3 1/2 star motel for $52 plus tax. I called them and the best price I could get was $78. The risk you take is that it is non-refundable. So if you are willing to do that, you can save a bundle. Good luck...see you in Schaumburg Paul Budweiser 65's/US Pallet 60's |
May 31, 2009 grumpy55 Men's 60 102 posts | This Tournament starts in 9 days for the 65s, you would think that field assignments or something would be posted by now for all divisions. We still count even tho this is in the Midwest and not the West part of the country.:) |
