June 14, 2009 armiho211 Men's 70 449 posts | JERRY DEAL- TEXAS LEGENDS 65 's PITCHER guys, need a few prayers for my team mate, jerry deal who was seriously injured while working under an antique truck last sunday. the truck fell on top of jerry, somehow he managed to get to the cell in his pocket and call for help. he is at harris hosp. in ft worth with a broken arm, severe back injury that required rods to be installed. he is on a ventilator and has been sedated since he went in. jerry was one of the original texas legends from the 90's and well known in the texas area. this posting is to advise his friends around the softball world of his injuries, and to keep jerry in your prayers. |

June 19, 2009 armiho211 Men's 70 449 posts | 6/19 pm-- went to visit jerry deal at life care hosp in ft worth today, he is slowly getting better every day that passes. he is still being heavily medicated for pain . but he managed to raised his legs, wiggle his toes, etc. this is great news as his back was heavily damaged. hopefully rehab will start in about 3 weeks. as far as softball , will need to wait until next year to see how everything works. jerry's bud, frank a . |
