Thks Brett.......I'll call the coach today, he's in Canada on business and my phone hasn't stopped ringing. You know what rolls down hill. Stoney, I feel your pain. We (Brickyard) got moved up after last years ISA that got rained out. As I recall we Played you guys in the finals of the winners bracket late saturday night. We've played you guys in Indy, Champaign, and St.Louis. Always a good game. Sorry to hear you guys broke up. We haven't won a SINGLE GAME this year in major. We got one more butt kickin coming before we can apply to move back down. Heck of a lot of money to get properly rated. Good luck.

Corky,
I think we talked last year when I was looking to go to AZ. and I agree with you that both are teams are good AAA and should be allowed to play there until we win a National. I will be in Nashville if you need a player,I'm visiting relatives.

Kayson's Grille was not on the schedule I was provided from Jerry Jackson last night. Were they a late entry? If so, the schedule will need to be revised.

I just talked to Pete. When they sent their money they were a AAA team. They asked to be move up to Major after picking up 2 or 3 players.
They called ISA yesterday or today to check on it and were told that they would play in the AAA pool play. If they did well they would play in the Major bracket.
Don't shoot the messenger!

Now Bruce would ya'll do as some of the younger teams do and sandbag the pool play .... then hammer them during the bracket play .... are there that many teams they can't re draw those to brackets ....

They are missing 3 good players. My bet is that they asked why they weren't in the major division and were possibly told it would be easier to leave them there for pool play.
Remember, Kayson's did ask to be moved up to major before the tournament in Marietta.

I noticed that the 60 Majors are playing Friday at "Municipal Park". Is that part of the Triple Creek Complex or is it somewhere else? If so, does anyone have an address?

Well, I did a Google search and it appears Municipal Park is not part of the Triple Creek complex. The address is 250 Municipal Park Dr. in Gallatin.

The scoop on Kaysons,

When we sent our entry in we were still AAA in SSUSA. Since ISA went by SSUSA rankings and we knew we would not have our best team there we saw no reason to put us in at the major level. We found out several days ago that SSUSA moved us to major a few weeks ago and did not tell us. We called the director of the tournament today and informed him of this. He said we would play pool play in AAA and be moved to major if it looked like we were loaded. We told him we would do whatever he felt was best and felt we could compete at either level. We will be missing 4 or 5 starters but our subs are pretty good. I don't think we could win either division with the team we are bringing up there but we can give most everyone a run for their money. We do not sandbag and we play with who we have on our team. We don't pick up players just for one tournament. That's why we have stayed together for so long.

DoubleL 10 Municipal Park is a mile or 2 on the left before Triple Creek Complex. This park is easier to find than triple creek for it's near the main road.

Yesterday I checked the ISA rules and according to their rule book online (http://www.isasoftball.com/files/EDITEDISARULEBOOK03-11-09_0.pdf) ISA seniors will use SSUSA rules.
I'm sure differences (such as excessive hr's are outs) will be covered in the mgrs meeting.
I'm curious to see if ISA will use the PPR.
I wish they would allow stealing.

Sag,
I applaud you for staying to play in this Tournament even tho your situation changed. A lot of teams would bale out and have done so in past tournaments even tho they were rerated after winning 3 or 4 to start the year. I do not understand when teams say they can not compete at the next level when they have not even played it is beyond me.

Stoney.....The only problem with NOT playing is they won't consider moving ya down till ya play 3 (countem) 3 tourneys with at least 6 teams in your division. It takes a lot of money (if your not in the "IN Crowd" to even get considered to move. That seems to be the nature of the Beast. Good luck

Corky,Your right ,it takes a lot of money...I guess about 2000.00 a tourney for a team with entry, hotels, food&gas and then they will consider a move and if they do move you down you better not win anything or right back up you go in the middle of the season. My gripe is in the middle of a season to get bumped after winning two 4 team tourneys and both tourneys had same teams in them,And only winning both by one run over the same team. Also GOOD LUCK at ISA
