Northern Illinois Clubs and Leagues
Elgin Area
This is the 25th season for the Elgin Masters 50 And Over Softball League so if you’re 50 or will be in 2010 then its not too soon to plan to join this league for the 26th season. This league plays on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:45 and 8:00PM on field #5 at the Elgin Sports Complex. This is a very competitive recreational league with six teams and this year the season started on April 14 and will end on August 27 and consist of 4 pre-season and 22 regular season games. The league follows the SSUSA Senior Softball rules. The per person fee for this league is $75 for Elgin residents and $90 for non-residents and each player receives a T-shirt in the color of your team.
Bud Wilson ( 10 Hamilton Ave., Elgin, Il. 60123 847-888-0735) is the administrator of the league and you can call him for further help in becoming a member of this league. Is it ever too soon to plan for next year? No! ALL WELCOME PLAY BALL HAVE FUN
If you know of other clubs and leagues in the northern Illinois area please contact me with that information so that we can spread the word. Thanks
