The 50+ team from Hilton Head said that they would be there. Southern Softball is also going.

Ed, Sunday we had temps in the 70's here in north Atlanta. The rest of the week looks like 50's and 60's. Maybe Montgomery will have 70's. We're looking forward to some exciting games! See you there.

Montgomery is suppose to have rain on Tuesday PM, Wednesday & possibly Thursday AM. The outfields will be soft and in places muddy. The temps are predicted to be in the high 60s. Ed, certainly better than what you are experiencing but not as warm as we had hoped. Also, a chance of light showers on Saturday. All of this is subject to change but most of this rain will be coming out of the Gulf. My understanding is the games will start Friday and the brackets will be drawn on Wednesday PM. Lagoon Park's number is 334-271-7016. Hope all have safe trips into Lower Alabama.

CONGRATS to Miken / Old South for going undefeated in the Gold Division in the 50+ age group to take the championship.

I believe that the term "REPEAT" is in order as well.

You guys have a super team. Too bad you let the cat out of the bag, with scores in the forties. we'll be lying in wait for you now.

Again, Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!

peace

Thanks BillyMac, I think we may have caught you on an "off" weekend. We're looking forward to many more battles this year.

Did the Metro Stars from Louisville make the Montgomery tournament? If so, how did they do?

I believe the Metro Stars placed third in the Silver division. Southern Softball was first and Sidelines was second. I was told that the Metro Stars hit quite a few out for outs. The Silver division doesn't allow hrs.
