Bat Difference
Is their any difference between the Launch 510 GOLD and the new Launch 510 RED?

Hi I have used both. I did'nt see much of a differance between the two bats, but I am far from being a Power Hitter! The Gold ones are from 2008, the Red ones from 2009.

In a previous post it was stated that there is a differance, because the Red ones were made in China, the Gold were not.

My only real problem with both of these bats is the durability of them.
Do Not let more than 1 or 2 guys use these Bats and if it's under 65 degrees keep them in your Bag!

I really like the Bats also! Hope this
helps a little.

From my experience the gold ones have more pop and last longer. The red ones are junk. My team mates and I have broken several red ones this year. One broke after two swings. I saw a guy break two brand new ones on two consecutive at bats down in Dalton in July. We have stopped using them. I have voiced my displeasure to Ridge as SPA promotes them. He was going to pass comments onto his contact with Worth. We just returned from Vegas and I saw very few if any being used. The U2 and Combat are by far the most popular bats being used.

AI33 is so right. They break really easy and no warranty to speak of. A good Bat but it would be nice to use them for more than a swing or two!

I really like the Bats but the durability is the worst.

Hi Rod: I have the Gold510 and JUST LOVE IT, my team mates will tell you I hit the living ---- out of the ball.
Don't ask to use it so I don't have to say NO. Like people that have seen me use it, it works real good like a U2.
Remember both make by Worth same company
