Hi. I enjoyed the tournament as usual. I did post on another reply-How about putting the old guys up front next year on fields 1-2-3. Send the youngsters to fields 5 & 6. If you do keep it the same, how about a porta potty out there by 5 & 6..

Gary, Tim and I talked about how the older guys should probably play first after I looked at the brackets Friday which would give you a better share of the front fields. I rate the teams, and he schedules; so he is learning more every year. You should also get your share with the younger guys on the front diamonds. I know there were some older games up front, but I have not gone back to look at the actual percentage. I did make sure to let him know that I have some concerns about the older guys on the turf field. I know the bounces are true, but the ball really picks up speed after it hits the turf. Believe me he hears about the porta-potties every day that usually sit in the back from the players, fans, and umpires. I know he likes to stay on time, but I am walking up to the front between every game if I am in the back. They usually seem to appear every year around race time.

Nancy thanks for the results of last weeks tournaments. This is the second year that I ahve brought the Kansas City Masters to Indy, and I am just as impressed with the tournament in the second year as I was the first year. Tim and Co. do an outstanding job coordinating and running the tournament. Format, facilities, umpires, and balls are all well above average. We look forward to being able to return. THANKS Tim Burkindine
