For the Guys in the South
Most of you probably know "Lefty". AKA "Joe" or "Cajun Joe" as I like to refer to him. Anyway, you know what a humble guy Joe is found to be.

You have probably heard of Red Adair, the famous oil well firefighter. Well, humble Joe's daddy reportedly worked for Red back in the 50's and 60's.

The story is told that Red had a difficult time with one particular mean and nasty fire down in the bayou of Louisiana. He finally just gave up and left with the blaze as hot as ever. Someone remembered that Cajun Joe's daddy was near by. A phone call was made. Daddy rounded up as many of his family as he could find on such short notice, loaded them all into the back of his flat-bed truck, and lit out to the fire. There were probably 20 or so in the back, including Joe, who was barely out of diapers.

As the truck neared the front entrance of the compound, Daddy noticed that the gate was still locked and a number of barriers were still in place. The crowd of onlookers were shocked as the truck never slowed, barreled through everything at the gate. Daddy proceeded to drive right up into the middle of the fire and everyone jumped out, pulled off their coats and beat the fire out in minutes.

An excited reporter ran up to interview Joe's dad. "What will you do with the huge reward which had been offered to anyone who could put out the fire?"

Dad's reply: "Well, the first thing I'll do is get the brakes on my truck repaired!"

Hey Joe, that is an old joke from almost 30 years ago, but I thought you would not mind me including you in it.

My tourney will be on Feb 27 or March 6. I am waiting to verify that SPA and Montgomery are in agreement. I would like for the Bham tourney to be 2 weeks prior to Montgomery.

I still need 2 outfielders; if you know of anyone who might be interested, please send them my way. Take care

Thanks guys, for the info. I guess I am just being overly cautious, because of last year. If you remember, it was listed as the 3rd week in March until late January and then was changed to 2nd week.
