Mike Massong Surgery in Denver
A great many of you know Mike Massong. He has been around Senior Softball for many years and is a key member of our Scrap Iron Softball Club. Mike is having his 5th surgery today in an attempt to stop spinal fluid from seaping from his nasal cavity. Please join us in prayer for his complete recovery and guide the surgeons hands.

ED,
If you see or talk to him please tell him my prayers are with him for a speedy recovery. We all had a good time in St G that week. Thanks for the update. He mentioned it to me in an email last year.
Play to win, for him.

The surgery went great, the surgeon said he saw the "leak" put some fat into the hole and it stopped it. The only problem now is we will have to call him "fathead"

Well, fat is better that chewing gum or stop leak.
Just as long as it works with no reoccurrence.
He's a fighter, he will be back.

I talked to Mike and he was upbeat and ready to get his butt back on the fields. He will be in Mesquite in March.
