"Canada got out goal-tended" by Miller. Weather here in Vancouver has been awesome for this time of year allowing us to get out for BP for the last couple of weeks. |

You folks from Vancouver should be very proud to live in a city as Beatiful as Vancouver. And also of the great job they have done with the Olympics. |

Lefty: Myself and some of my buddies who play for Enviro-Vac 50 are getting old and will be playing 60s for Masters Marauders in that tournament yes. Hope to see you there. I printed them – framed em’ in gold frame and hung them by my softball shrine ~:) I will be playing 60 division for No fence To Far in Laughlin, NV in a couple of weeks are any of you guys going? The flowing of beer sounds great! Team Canada played great last night over Russia as they seem to be finding their stride. Am hoping they win against Slovakia to make a gold medal game vs USA possible. |

| March 1, 2010 Bob50 Men's 60 242 posts | Mad Dog, I have spent the last two winters in Texas. Last year in the Houston winter league we only had one night cancelled due to rain or cold weather. This year we've had more than half our games cancelled due to rain or cold. What's going on? |

Obviously, Canada was the better team and deserved to win but I am sure that after the U.S. scored their second goal to tie the game every Canadian Hockey fan's butt was puckering! We sure put a scare into them and I think that the U.S. earned a little more respect. It's a young team that will only get better in the coming years as they play together in more international tournaments. |
| March 2, 2010 stick8 1991 posts | Lefty, I thought the Canadians played a great defensive game--they were forchecking and backchecking the US most of the game--until the last part. If it wasn't for Miller in goal the Canadians could have scored 5 or 6 goals. But that made it exciting. Kudoes to coach Babcock (from my Red Wings)and staff for coming up with a great game plan. |
