That was the best hockey game I have seen in years. Fast action, great goaltending, hard hitting, exciting. Hockey at that level is still the best game to watch!!!! Go USA

The USA / Canada game rates up there with one of he best hockey games I have ever watched even if the wrong team won. "Canada got out goal-tended" by Miller.

Weather here in Vancouver has been awesome for this time of year allowing us to get out for BP for the last couple of weeks.

It was a very good game, Canada had something like 36 shots on goal to the USA's 19. Miller was outstanding in the goal last night. You folks from Vancouver should be very proud to live in a city as Beatiful as Vancouver. And also of the great job they have done with the Olympics.

Thanks for the compliments Diehard. Living here and being able to witness the excitement of these Olympics has truly been special and being blessed with above normal temperature and sunny skies has also been great for spectators.

Mad Dog: I will ask George Masters about making room for a great 60-year old for Huntsman.

Lefty: Myself and some of my buddies who play for Enviro-Vac 50 are getting old and will be playing 60s for Masters Marauders in that tournament yes. Hope to see you there.

Crusader: I did get the pictures, thanks so much. I printed them – framed em’ in gold frame and hung them by my softball shrine ~:)

I will be playing 60 division for No fence To Far in Laughlin, NV in a couple of weeks are any of you guys going?

Nice to hear from all of you – stay well.

Jim

USA out shot the Swiss 32 to 8 through two periods. Had I goal that went in .01 seconds after time expired in the second period. hope the third period is more in the USA favor as far as the score board goes. Back to hockey. Thanks Harry

Mel, We may get a little snow over night not much. It Has been in the 40s for most of the week. The only thing that I know is each day brings us closer to spring. I have always said it can never be too hot. All this crap does not happen when it is in the 90s. Thanks Harry

Hi Crusader, we may run into you guys then in Bullhead City - that would be nice. I think the name of team I am with is No Fence To far out of WA. The flowing of beer sounds great!

Team Canada played great last night over Russia as they seem to be finding their stride. Am hoping they win against Slovakia to make a gold medal game vs USA possible.

Congratulations to the Canadian Women on their Gold Medal. They played a heck of a game against a very good USA team. The USA men in a rematch will have their hands full if USA and Canada win today to advance to the Gold Medal game. Go USA.

Ditto the congratulations on the game and the celebration (reminded me of after a softball game). Team USA is off to an early lead against The Fins. Team Canada has been very impressive so far and the final ought to be worth watching. Go USA

What a great celebration but all the political correct people are going to have a field day with this. somebody should tell the Canadian women that is why they make parking lots for the celebration after the game. Thanks Harry

Ah, if we had a nickel for every parking lot beer, we could buy many more so as to enjoy longer visits after the game. Is there such a thing as Canadian beer :>) or do the ladies just prefer Coors?

Great - GOLD MEDAL GAME, USA vs Canada on Sunday at noon Pacific Time.

Hey Lemons: Molson Canadian is proley' Canada's most popular beer but Coors & Bud are made here as well, many other delicious brews are also made in Canada. Molson also supports Slo-Pitch National (SPN) in a big way in Canada so most softball players support Molson by drinking their beer.

Enviro-Vac,
Anyone who enjoys a cold one after a grueling athletic contest is ok in my book. I'm looking forward to a great game and hope Team USA is able to fend off the relentless attack of Team Canada.

Congratulations to Team Canada on the Gold medal win! Great game, great Olympics. As the Baseball players report to spring training and March Madness is around the corner it's only a matter of time before we're all out playing our game, SOFTBALL.

Mad Dog, I have spent the last two winters in Texas. Last year in the Houston winter league we only had one night cancelled due to rain or cold weather. This year we've had more than half our games cancelled due to rain or cold. What's going on?

Great game! Obviously, Canada was the better team and deserved to win but I am sure that after the U.S. scored their second goal to tie the game every Canadian Hockey fan's butt was puckering! We sure put a scare into them and I think that the U.S. earned a little more respect. It's a young team that will only get better in the coming years as they play together in more international tournaments.

Lefty, I thought the Canadians played a great defensive game--they were forchecking and backchecking the US most of the game--until the last part. If it wasn't for Miller in goal the Canadians could have scored 5 or 6 goals. But that made it exciting. Kudoes to coach Babcock (from my Red Wings)and staff for coming up with a great game plan.

Great job of coaching those Pros. Very exciting on both sides of the puck.
However, I wonder if the Canucks would have been as gracious to the US team had they not won. After all the bad mouthing they did throughout the Olympics.
