| May 25, 2010 snowed-in_new_yorker Men's 50 15 posts | Does SSUSA have a refund policy for rain outs? Does SSUSA have a refund policy when you don't get all or none of the 5 games that you were guaranteed because of rain? I can understand that there may be field rental costs that they can't get out of & maybe some umpire fees. Seems to me that someone other than the players are coming ahead here. |
| May 25, 2010 SSUSA Staff 3483 posts | The SSUSA refund policy is covered at §15.1(2) of the 2010 Official Rule Book (on page 86). AN excerpt of that section includes "...In no event will refunds be made after two (2) games have been played. There is no guarantee of any refund. Participants must realize that no one can control weather or other Acts of God." |
