Max6. Border Rules. Michigan doesn't border Illinois.

Illinois and Michigan do share a border along Lake Michigan! SSUSA, a ruling on this please.

I'm being serious. This same subject came up in law enforcement ball. I believe they ruled that water boundaries count.

Dbax .No as a resident of Michigan I was denied by the association to play with a team from Illinois because of boundary.

Dbax: titanhd is correct. MI and Illinois do not touch each other at all. They are close but that does not count. Indiana borders extend to Lake MI thus seperating Illinois and MI. I would love to play in Lansing if anyone needs a player as I live in MI. I played with Big Daddy's this past summer. Donny C.

Donny C, I beg to differ. They share a water boundary in Lake Michigan. This is a fact.

neck10/Dbax: I am not sure of what you are saying. Lake Superior borders MI, WI, MN, and of course Canada. From what you say I can play ball for MN as it borders a lake that borders MI which I live in. I understand I can play in WI and IN as they border directly. I am not sure about this water boundary. Can I play for a team from Illnois? because of the water boundary you speak of. Donny C.

Hey, does this mean if I am from Texas I can play on a Florida team since we share the Gulf of Mexico? Just sayin'.

I am saying, kiddingly, but absolutely true, that states do share borders of not only land. Look at a map. Illinois does share a border Michigan along Lake Michigan. Same with Lake Superior. Does it say anywhere in SSUSA bordering state rules that the border must be land only?
Just sayin'.

Following that logic, one could argue the East Coast shares the West Coast since the Atlantic Ocean connects to the Pacific by virtue of the Panama Canal.
