Hi Harry, Dalton was a very competetive tournament. It was nice to play some different teams. Alamo City Legends beat us (Big Daddy's) in the finals of the winners bracket by scoring 6 in the bottom of the 7th and again in the championship by scoring a couple in the bottom of the 8th. Congratulations to them on their championship. Doc Martens (MI) finished 3rd. I'm still hobbling along waiting for my knee to work correctly, but optimistically looking forward to when it does. Sorry you didn't get to Dalton. Regards to you and Terri, Mel

Gary, We found out the schedule for last week late on Tuesday. Seems to me a "players association" would try to do more to accomodate the players. It was really nice to play against teams we hadn't seen before, and the weather only caused a few minor glitches. Good luck this week. Mel

IT WAS A GREAT TOURNAMENT OVERALL, the parity of the 60-AAA's was there. a lot of close games , saw quite a few great plays made , the pitching and defense by all teams was pretty good. i think we finished 5th overall. ( DALLAS SPURS ). PLAYING IN THE RAIN ( SAT NITE )CERTAINLY WAS DIFFERENT ,BUT IT RAINED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE FIELDS. it was great to see teams we have never played before. if we couldnt win it, i am glad the ALAMO CITY LEGENDS represented and won it for TEXAS. I HOPE THE KANSAS CITY PITCHER, IS FEELING BETTER AFTER GETTING NAILED TWICE . i am not sure, BUT i think he almost got nailed a 3rd time by a foul ball as he was getting into the ambulance after the 2nd hit. GUYS- best of luck to all the rest of the year. FRANK A. #15, RIGHT CENTER, DALLAS SPURS.
