October is fast upon us.....
I will turn 50 next year and am looking for a team to play with. I have been out of the tournament scene for about 8 years. But have still been playing league softball since the age of 18. Am looking to see if anyone out there may need a player for the upcoming tournments in Manteca or Pleasanton? And into the 2011 tournament season!

Currently live in Los Gatos.
Can be reached at "thebulls31@comcast.net"

Thanks for reading!!

Ed,

Check out the Vintage league that plays at Moffit Field on Saturdays. They have a lot of tournament team players that come out of that league. Its also a good way to get into Senior ball.

Diputs, is it a vintage league in name only or do they use vintage bats and balls?

Thanks, I was just wondering if there are any leagues that allow only wood softball bats, not baseball but softball bats. You know, the kind we used in the 50's and 60's.

hello, my name is Lance (50)and I live in Grand Rapids, Mi. I saw your flier today and wanted to check out your website, etc. Cool! I've been playing softball for 30 years and vintage base ball for 5 years now, with the kent base ball club (kbbc) here. It's a riot. no gloves! no fear! Yes we use vintage bats, some use gloves just depending on what year you play and there are leagues all over the country. Just google kent base ball club and it will take uyou to the website and have a link for all the teams here in Michigan and around the country.
