St George 60+ tournament
60 Major just finished up. I was told Yeagers beat Fire One in the best of 3 (2)team Major division. Some games were rained out. Here's the Crappy part. Both Yeagers and Fire One are from Washington and most of the players face off against each other all summer long. So you spend Big bucks to travel all that way to the play a team from your own state/area ?

That's the case like most others you never REALLY know until it's too late to pull out or go to another.
Main Difference is that they are open rosters.
Which I like because it allows you to play with guys from all over the place. I have played for 2 Canadian teams and teams from 5 other states. I keep in touch with many of them.
ST G occasionally has a rain out day, but not always.
I hope they seated the teams well in the other brackets given there are more than the norm for that.

60 AAA appears to be seeded well from what I have seen as most games have been close and I think any team could have won their game.

Masters Marauders from British Columbia are in the AAA finals later today with a double life having won their games at the botton of the final inning.

If you're in Northern California you might want to consider traveling south in December. I will guarantee you wont be just playing each other then. The SCSSA is hosting the Southern California Senior Softball Championship. Check it our here. www.socalssa.com Spots are going fast but you will get your monies worth at this one for sure.

Guys-I hope to meet some of you in Phoenix after conversing here. It would be nice to put a face with the name. Look for the blue CTI knee brace on the Desperados. 55AAA. Have a safe trip to PHX.

Game On and Road Kill (Animals) played in the 1st medal game with Game On winning. Game On then lost to the Masters Marauders in the Gold Medal game 18 - 14. Game On won the Silver in a very evenly matched bracket. Road Kill took the Bronze so CA won 2 medals.

Game On and Road Kill....couple of very good 60 teams who were fun to play against with both demonstrating class and sportsmanship.

Either team could have won the division with a few bounces.

Thanks Enviro. We really enjoyed playing everyone. I don't know which team you play with, but if we played you we had fun.

Thanks Mad Dog and maybe next year.

Chief - I was playing with the Marauders, either 1st or RF and batting 2 or 3 in the order depending on which game it was. In the finals I was batting 2.
