Southern California Championship
Big Bash in Hemet in less than two weeks... Looks like Donnie and I will have close to 600 of our closest friends :O) for what is turning out to be one of the largest turnouts in Southern California. Special thanks to the teams that have supported us through the year. Thanks to Senior Softball for all their support as we close out our first year on what looks like a very high note! Weather looks good so far and remember Bill Gateley will be there to discuss all your carbon fiber bat questions. I can't wait! C.U.guys there! www.socalssa.com

Dave, I'm pretty sure the hotels in the Hemet area are pretty reasonable. Temecula is another story :O) If you have an RV we have the best in tournament rates ... Free! The problem with hotels is we have to reserve blocks of rooms. Then if they aren't taken 30 days before the event they are put back into inventory. I tried this in Temecula this year and in every case the rooms had to be removed and returned to inventory. As a consequence some hotels in Tmemcula aren't anxious to work with us. The only thing I can think that can be done is a maybe blanket discount. I will work on doing this with the people that own the facility and see how far it goes. They have more muscle than I. But earlier RSVPs to our tournament dates will go a long way in helping our cause.
