Why have ratings
It took me a while but I now ask this question. The associations have ratings then change or don't adhere to them. Eastern Nationals Motown was allowed to go up to Major + so they could compete in East vs West in Phoenix. There were no other Major+ teams so they automatically won. We were told they would be Major + the rest of the way. We go to the ISSA and were told they were Major even though as of Aug. 16 the were rated Major+. They won that tournament beating us 21-19 in semi's. Then we go to Des Moines and I now see that Pilcher's who complained out there that they we Major+ won the Western Nationals. I guess it's fitting that they will play each other and one will be a champion. I am the coach of Friedlander 50. Our team pays only for the entrance fee and we just try to play our best. It does get depressing when these unfair situations come up.
