| Sept. 14, 2005 STONEMAN Men's 50 535 posts | The Freak 98, sucks, period. As of today, the Miken's Maniac, Freak, & Freak Plus can be used in ISA, USSSA, SPA, LVSSA, & SS-USA. I have been told by one NSA U.I.C., that come Oct 1st, the Freak & Freak Plus will be legal along w/ Miken's Maniac & Worth's Mayham. I hit both the Maniac & Mayham, both r great bats. This past yr., I hit several 100 balls w/ the 98. I hit these balls off of a hitting tee. I could only hit 1 out of 10 balls out on a 300' field. W/ the Maniac & Mayham, I can consistly hit a ball 40' to 60' farther. |
