Don't know if anyone outside SSUSA knows for sure, just lots of speculation. If you read some of the threads you will surely notice a new tone with lots more first time posters or returning posters.

It's a temporary thing. Only a couple of chatterboxes are on here now.
Most of the 1st timers are new to the circuit or looking after having moved.
Isn't it nice... at times I'd think you could hear a pin drop. lol.

Scott, you have almost 3000 posts, so I am assuming you are calling yourelf a chatterbox too.

Well, there's chatter and there's CHATTER. Number of posts isn't the measurement (and Gary19, you're cheating with your post numbers since you changed your moniker).:=)

I believe that the two of them are on time out ( gary c and einstein). I am not sure for how long but I do know for a fact that they have been suspended. Thanks Harry

Well, I wouldn't exactly call it 'cheating' since I didn't have a choice for awhile there. And I was just messing with taits.

Gary, Omar is right. The number of posts is irrelavent.
Your reputation certainly isn't spotless by any means and messing with people (taits) doesn't help it.
If you ever hope or desire to have people take you seriously on any of your ideas or beliefs you should conside being straight up with folks. Calling the sky dark blue when someone else calls it blue just allienates people. Have a nice day.

Yea Al, "messing" with someone is just sooooo bad. I like Scott, I was pulling his leg, I doubt if he has a problem with it.

What aren't I 'straight up' about? We are all on here only talking about a friggin' game, if we can't mess around and have fun what is the point.

And my ideas and beliefs on here stand on their own merit.

Gotcha Gary,
I knew of all people that you couldn't resist.
Golly, I was just messing with you.
Your getting to easy.

You got what? The fact that I see you now backpeddling at a furious pace?

Gary,
I believe that there are many of us who were hoping that you might be turning over a new leaf going into the new year. That plus you changed your name from Dirty. I can't tell if you're busting our chops or if you're the same old arrogant and sarcastic poster from the past.
The only back peddling you'll ever see from me, might be going back to catch a dumbed down ball coming off one of your dumbed down bats, because I sure ain't intimidated by you.
I wish I could believe that you are always having fun with your posts, but I have my doubts. Let's try and keep it civil.

Al, I made a joking post to taits and you jumped in on me. Now how does any of that make me 'arrogant and sarcastic'? Then I tried to politely explain that to you, and you got sarcastic with me. You have no point to 'get'.

I never advocated dumbed down bats or balls, I just don't want to see anymore dumbed down rules to accommodate them. Play with whatever equipment you want, but NO more run limits, time limits, PPRs, goalie equipment, or pitcher's boxes to accommodate them.

If you want to use the hot stuff, fine, but let's play real softball and not some dumbed down game for the special seniors.

mad dog, I do know that Joe did get out of hand but I do miss him. What post was it that stated for you to take the ball and run with it. I do believe that Joe would have come down heavy on it. Whoever said that also used the term the majority, just like Joe. I like things the way they are and vote for no change. I do enjoy this site so many personalities. here is one for everybody, lively bats and balls forever. Thanks Harry

birdie/harry,i know joe, have played with him and against him,i just didn't appreciate being called names and a bat doctor by him,b/c i gave a review of the ball and said we could live with it.i like hitting what we have but in name of safety and every one going back to their families at the end of the game in one piece i wouldn't mind hitting the 52-275 ball.the kids use it for usssa and we have no prol hitting it with lesser bats than the senior ones and it keeps the game of recreational softball a little safer.we are not paid to play this game so why do we need to have a loss of life a possibility, with the hot combo we have now.i was hit by a teammate(in the calf) when i was running from first back on the 6th of nov,and my leg still has a prol with it.
later and good luck this year, sorry we are gonna miss ya at TOC.

Robert, I will miss being at the TOC. You be safe. I hope that the leg gets better. We are not getting any younger. I will play with whatever is decided. No need for all the name calling, You are correct in that regard. Thanks Harry
