TOC Updates
I'm hoping somebody will be giving updates for the TOC. When I play or follow U-Trip the brackets are updated as games are completed. Be nice if SSUSA could/would do the same. Love to be there with my team and not need updates but still recovering from broken arm I got pitching at Winter National in Vegas.

Can someone let me know how the Scrap Iron Reds 65, Scrap Iron Diamonds 60, and Scrap Iron Master Collision did today?(2-11-2011) I wish SSUSA would post all the classes at the end of the day, just the scores. Thanks! Easy $$

I can't give you a whole lot of info, but here's a few:

Four Seasons defeated Kayson's (8:00 am)
ENR defeated Butch's Line Drive (8:00 am)
Morgan Keegan defeated IMS Dogs (11:00 am)
Morgan Keegan defeated Butch's Line Drive (12:30 pm)

Going into tomorrow's bracket play in the Major bracket, I believe the seedings are:

1. Metro Stars
2. ENR
3. Morgan Keegan

I'll try to get more information this evening.

The two in the winner's bracket are Metro Stars and Morgan Keegan.
Kayson's Grille, IMS, ENR and the winner of Four Seasons and the Bandits will be back tomorrow.

Double 10, Any updates on the 60 Major. Come on Larry you know that you have to share some information from sunny Fla. I played golf today. I should rephrase that it was wacky golf. Greens were frozen for most of the round but it was nice to get out there. Tee time tomorrow at 900am. I still would rather be at the TOC. Thanks Harry

Men's 50 Major Bracket -

Metro Stars defeated Morgan Keegan in the winners bracket finals. ENR then beat Morgan Keegan in the losers bracket finals. That has ENR coming out of the losers bracket to take on Metro Stars.

Bruce,

The Wild Bunch (AL) lost the 60 Major winners bracket finals game to Minnesota Masters 60's - White. MN Masters scored three in the bottom of the seventh to win the game 22-21. The Wild Bunch then lost the losers bracket finals to Minnesota Prize 65's when MN Prize scored once in the bottom of the seventh to win 26-25. That was the third bottom of the seventh win for MN Prize on Sunday as they earlier beat LL Roofing (FL) 18-17 (their third win over LL in the tournament) and then beat Budwesier (FL) 27-26. The 60 Major finals was an all Minnesota event with the MN Masters 60's beating the MN Prize 65's 26-16 to win the title.

NOTE: The MN Prize 65's qualified for the 2011 TOC in 2009 when they were still a 60+ team. They began competing as a 65+ team in 2010 but had to play in the TOC in the division in which they qualified (60 Major).

birdie, By now you know we did poorly. We split with Double L Roofing and Michigan Express. Master Collision beat us (again) in the first bracket game. We were rusty and looked worse. A few hit well but our defense was not on it's game. Enjoyed playing and seeing a lot of old friends. I was staying at the same hotel as Tudor, Jeff Gunter, Hammer, Chicken, et. al., and got to visit with them a while. I'm up in the air about returning - it was too cold for this Okie (for now)!

In the 50 Major division, Metro Stars won in a very tough battle over ENR. Having to win twice, ENR won the first game in the bottom of the 7th but Metro pulled out the final game in the bottom of the seventh also. ENR put up a hell of a fight and was a very classy team!

Hollis Appraisals / Kittrell Acoustical won the 55 major plus over a very good Kinnco Services team out of Michigan. We also had some good battles with Greco Hitman out of Arizona. Our team really enjoyed the competition and all of the characters we played against. A little cold but a very well run tournament. Too bad for us we've offended all of the local umps during our monthly battles here in Florida as the blues were giving us "visitor cooking." We couldn't buy a call even though most of those boys are our cousins and uncles! ;)

The 55 Major Division finished as follows:

Sweet Construction
High Street Bucs
Gonzales Insulation
New Jersey Hitmen

Tie for 5th.
Tri State Merchants
Doubleplay Classic

All of our games were close until the final. We scored many of our runs with 2 outs.

Very evenly matched teams. One more hit or one less defensive play would have changed many results

It finally warmed up Sunday.

Larry, Sorry about the results for you team. It is hard to compete when you have not played in awhile Great job by the Minn. teams. We played one of those teams in Phoenix and they sent us home. They have a good team and Master Collision spanked us pretty good there also. It was 70 yesterday and 44 today. Spring is coming. Thanks Harry

You have to consider the "Rose" factor when it comes to the umps (LOL).

neck10 - Bobby's number is 813-503-1168. Conman (Dave) you are right. There is a Rose factor but i was just being a little tongue in cheek with the Michigan and Arizona boys. You know we have some type A personalities but they had a few as well. We enjoyed the competition and the friendship. A great bunch of softball players. I think the Michigan boys had an advantage as we were freezing and them corn feed dudes were walking around in shorts (with white legs) and shirt sleeves!
