Olde A's double dipped the NY Statesmen to win the tourny.

Statesmen scored 8 in the bottom of the 7th of the winners bracket final to tie, then won it in the bottom of the 8th on a Davide grand slam.

Olde A's came back, won the first final game on a blowout and from what Sammy told me, scored two in the bottom of the 7th to win after NY scored one in the top to go up by one.

Didn't get the other results. They were trying to catch a plane.

Gary19-Yes, John Davide did play for County Sports back in the day. He is still hitting it a ton and looks good on defense. John and the Statesmen are a class act.

I should also add that Mission Softball Club played in the 55 Major Plus. Even though we finished fourth, all the games were close and we could have won each one. Better luck next year!

I was glad for the opportunity to meet a fellow board brother - Einstein. Great player and team. Congratulations to the Old A's on their Championship!
