Rankings
How is it possible to have a teams ranking change 1 week prior to the world tournament. I understand teams drop out, but 4 teams rankings were changed in October. There should be a final date set for final rankings prior to the world tournment.

Joe:

Teams can apply for rerating at any time by filing the proper forms with the 3 main associations. However, in the case of the 65s even though 1 team got rerated in October they had to play in their prior division in Phoenix.

The system is not perfect but its better than nothing and I believe the 3 men who do the reratings Hennessy,Hooks and Thomas) do a good job even though we were turned down last time we applied.

Gary, the Minnesota Masters were moved from 55 Major after the brackets were made and placed in AAA where they won the championship.
Go figure.
