Reebok Bats
Contact dustin roberts for all your Reebok Items or issues.
and to the ones that think its junk I will put my Melle or Vector against any other bay. The bats besize the Legend take a little breaking in but they do get hotter as they go.

Guys here my 2 cents worth on the Rebook bats..........I know Ed Andrews to be a stand up guy...........if you all go back and read the message board section under bats , you will see that there have been a lot of the Rebook bats cracking and breaking..........as with new items there are always some duds in the group.....my suggestion was to wait until they got the kinks out, then order one if you like.
I was playing in Dallas and several players came up complaining to Ed about their bats......he was very courteous and told them it would be taken care of.....I even saw he exchange a bat to a player who was unhappy............I went and watch the player use his new bat and he hit well all game with it........again any time you buy a new product there may be flaws with them, give Ed a chance and I am sure he will make it right.

NO IAM NOT A REP OR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH REEBOK, AT LEAST NOT YET !

From all that I have read about the Reebok bat Ed being a stand up guy is the only constant of the entire issue.

Ed and Reebok are there own worst enemy. They came onto the board touting their bats to being the best senior bat that we could buy and more durable than any bat we were currently using. The "alter ego" of the MIken. We all knew or should have known that we can't have a bat hotter than the Miken and be more durable at the same time.Common sense should have told all of us that. But the fact of the matter is, that is exactlywhat they were selling."Hotter and more durable".
Now that reality has set in and their bat isn't backing up their claims he/they get defensive? Even though Reebox has acknowledged their is an issue-was an issue with their bats breaking, ANY warranty claim is a crap shoot. "if deemed to be defective" you may get a replacement.
It is nice to have options but ,Reebok simply didn't do their homework when marketing this bat.Had they simply touted this as an option to the Miken. Not "better than- hotter than- more durable than" I think that this bat and the subsequent issues would be veiwed in a better light.
So Ed while being a "stand up" guy is getting exactly what WE paid for when we bought his story and his Bat!

Having used the Reebok in 2 tournaments and some in league play as near as I can tell is "if you can hit a softball 350' with a Miken you can get a good 275' with a Reebok.

I guess my question is, if they were having so many problems with the first batch that came out....why would "anyone" spend money on a bat that they knew was cracking or breaking until all the bugs were out of them, that's what I am doing............doesn't sound like common sense to me............

Grock,I bought a melee and a vector back in the winter.Thought if the legend was as hot as advertised maybe they would be also.notta, the melee busted with less than 30 swings, sent it back and they replaced it.Swung the vector for less than 50 swings and it busted too but it did have a little pop.Send it back but reebok would not replace it so Buyer Beware.

Mr. Hudson, I don't know you, nor you me but I believe in the bat and I stand by my position. I feel it has performance and durability. If every person that bought or owns this bat were to go on a site and share their opinion, I believe it would be overwhelmingly positive.

My bat has been durable and I hit hard with it. I tell people that Miken and Combat make good quality bats and that Reebok makes a good quality bat as well. Some of the Reebok's broke and those people who have addressed the situation with patience and understanding, have been taken care of for the most part. I was told their issue was addressed and has been resolved. There may be some more bats out there that could break. Let's face it, there is not a company out there who has not experienced issues.

So titanhd, swing your bat of choice and enjoy it. Don't bust my chops. You didn't buy a bat from me. You didn't pay me and you didn't have a problem caused by me. Anyone who did, got 100% of my energy, my effort and my desire to help them with it. This is TRUTH not BULL.

#6 thanks for including me. When you become a Reebok Rep will you send me a bat plus a tanel shirt because a cold front came into the area last night and cooled it down to 94 degrees today so I'm a little chilly. Thanks, compadre.

Now, you advise all of us not to buy reebok bats until all the kinks are worked out. However, if no one buys these bats and uses them none of the kinks will be worked out, no bats will be sold, reebock won't make them anymore, you won't be a Rep and I won't get a bat.

I helped test the Reebok bats from their first introduction and continue to test their bats to this day. I have absolutely no financial tie to Reebok. However, my brother Curt, is the senior ambassador for Reebok and has been the driving force behind the development of this bats. I have personally swung over 20 test bats with 500 swings each from development bats to current models and just recently finished testing the "next" model.

In addition I have provided these bats to at least 10 other major plus players that are bombers here in Florida for their use and input. Average height 6'2", average weight 240 lbs. None of these bats (except for one with about 350 swings) have cracked before 500 swings. Typically, I break an Ultra in less than 100 swings. Reebok has listened to our criticism of the test bats such as not enough pop, too much flexibility in the handle, sweet spot not big enough, etc. and have gone back and re-designed the bats several times until the first batch was manufactured for the market. I am thankful that they listen, they care and are willing to improve their bats. Their desire is to provide a durable bat that has excellent pop. I think they have accomplished this with the present model.

I can not speak to those that have bats break prematurely as it just has not happened to those of us testing the bats, and my gosh we have tried to break these bats as quickly as possible so that we could give Reebok the feedback. Perhaps some of these bats were damaged in shipment, etc. I do know this though, Reebok tracks any bad bats and goes back to the actual machine that manufactured the bat to see if it is a result of machine, material or operator error.

I will be hitting this afternoon and will let every player that shows up use my 28 oz end load Reebok as well as the "next model" bat because I want to see how many swings it will take to break the bats.

Everyone is free to swing whatever bat you desire but I have seen the durability of the Reebok myself and have talked to mashers from all over the country who are having the same experience. Curt has a very select group of bat reps and most are monster hitters and all honest men.

OK, enough from me I am off to hit and see if I can break a bat!

Well Stated Audie. Thanks you Curt for getting me involved. I have never swung a better bat than my Reebok Melee 28EL.
