Houston National Senior Games - interested in feedback
I was part of team from TN that competed in the Houston national senior olympics in Houston (60's). 13 teams in all. We played some real hit factory powerhouses (San Antonio Classics and Legends, Springfield IL, Athletic Attic/Bathtub, LA Legends 60's, Jenks out of Hendersonville NC). Other teams were closer to our level. A classy bunch of competitors all and it was a pleasure to take the field against them. No complaints whatsoever about that.

From the standpoint of tournament organizational/logistics/and communication, however, this tournament was probably the most pitifully run I've ever seen. It was especially disappointing considering the pretty big money each player spent to get to Houston and play. I won't go into details here, but I'd be interested in hearing from other guys who played in Houston to see what they think of how the event at League City was run.

Congrats to my friends, Louisianna Legends 60's, on winning at this event. Hope to see all of you in Houston sometime soon. GT

Congrats to LA Legends, wish we could have had a chance to play you guys, but you were the best team all week long. NSGA missed a great chance to use some of the Senior personnel that are in the houston area to help with the organizatonal problem. Rene and Katelyn did a good job but could have used some help from folks knowing the senior game. Fields were real nice to play on, didn't lose any skin all weekend sliding or diving, can't say that for most fields. Billy's and LA Legends are two of the best AAA teams that we have seen in years, good luck in Dalton or Phoenix to all the teams we played, you guys are a great bunch of folks. AC Legends(SS).

Congratulations LA Legends! You guys played great and well deserved the GOLD! We really enjoyed the competition in this tourney (even if there were some administrative issues).
The teams we got to play - LA Legends, San Antonio Mission, Texas AC Legends, Tellico TN, and Delaware (to name a few) - were deep in talent and class.
Hope to see you all again sometime.

Congrats to all the teams that participated in the Senior Games this past weekend. Despite the one day of rain, the rest of blazing hot weather and some organizantional problems I thought the tourney went well. I'm sure the organizers could have used some help but they did their best. Nothing but class teams and team mates. I play for the LA Legends and every game was a challenge. Bathtub Billys are without a doubt the best bunch of guys we have ever played against. We hope to see all of you again somewhere down the line. Again congrats to all.
