SPA National Over 60 Major Dalton, Georgia - Injury to Wild Bunch Pitcher
The pitcher for the Wild Bunch got hit in the throat by a bad bounce when bending down to field a grounder when playing the Minnesota Masters. It appeared to be a serious injury. Does anyone know his condition? He is a class act and I hope he is OK.

Tarrel went to the hospital and got a MRI. Doc said he'll be alright. Nothing broken or fractured. Glad for that he's a great team mate. When your number one pitcher gets hurt it kinda goes down hill after that for it's on your mind the rest of the day. He's a great defensive and offensive player. Just a bad bounce. If you know him and if he can catch it he will.

Joe, I should pay closer attention to these things. I would have introduced myself when we played you guys. You have a very good team and even though you guys beat us pretty bad you still had some class in doing it. I am glad your pitcher is going to be ok. Good Luck in the future. Terrel returned last evening for the HOF ceremonies and he's doing fine. It will take more than a bad hop to keep him down. My wife told him that maybe that throat injury will make him not so loud!

I am glad to hear that my Friend "T-Rex" Terrell is doing fine!

Joe I missed you this weekend in Dalton???

Congrat's to all the teams that won Championships.

Also congrat's to all who participated in the tourney!

To be over 50 and still playing and enjoying a kids game is Special. In my opinion there were no losers. SOME TEAMS JUST RAN-OUT OF TIME!!!

Terrell will be back with the wild bunch in 2 weeks playing in the ISA World in Cocoa Beach,Florida. We were playing Minnesota for 2nd place, bottom of the 3rd when it happen & behind by a few runs. Steve Snow took over at the mound but had problems throwing strikes & walked several players.Steve is outstanding outfielder with great speed but no pitcher.Congratulations to Minnesota for winning second & High Street Bucks for winning first. The competition was outstanding & anyone of the 11 teams could have placed in the top three. Hats off to SPA on a very well ran tournanment. My friends in Minnesota, looking forward to seeing & playing you again in Cocoa Beach, who knows maybe the third time is our time to win.
Congratulations to Steve Snow & Bruce Fairchild for being put in the Hall of Fame.

Congratulations Bruce on your induction to the Hall of Fame.
Guys like you give it it's meaning.

Terrel you old coot!
Someone probably got mad at you for doing that little circle dance you do around the mound.
I still remember how much fun you had whooping
us a few years back.
Glad to hear you're OK.
Take more than that to take a real man
and as great a competitor as you.

Congrat's to Bruce and Pa Pa on your induction to the HOF. Two very deserving guys.

Glad to hear Terrel is ok. Everyone knows he's one of the most competitive guys around. On the field he can control a game with his antics. Off the field he's one of the most likable people you'll ever meet.
