| Aug. 17, 2011 hitman Men's 70 339 posts | Poll on discussions and posters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who would like to join a poll that threads NOT be dominated by a certain few individuals who are at each others throats all the time. They never can agree with each other on ANYTHING and we have heard all we need to hear about certain issues with equipment, rules, balls etc. from them. We would probably get more posters with more/different views instead of the same few doing the majority of the posting and being at each others throats instead of discussing the issue at hand. Gives us a break guys and quit dominating every discussion!!!!!!!!! |

But anyone hijacking a thread, especially anonymously, is not cool and most of us would like them to stay off the board unless they are contributing to the subject. | Aug. 17, 2011 mad dog Men's 65 4191 posts | pricer i'm with also,sorry guys about some of the stuff,but i can only put up with so much when pushed. tate22,we have all gone thru this,this is a softball board and anyone should be able to post,just like all other boards that are on the internet.even by posting name and info doesn't mean a thing really.we still wouldn't know the person and how do we know if they posted their real name,just saying thats all.i had mine up there for a while,but have been leary of having info out there that can be used by scammers now.it is so easy for someone to use it with out you even knowing it. well have fun guys and hope to see some at some up and coming tourney's,dalton in sept,phx in oct.... bob 60 AAA dallas spurs #77,that is the extent of my info..... |

The local creek had risen due to recent rains and the scorpion, a non-swimmer, could not cross the creek at his normal spot. So he asked the friendly frog if he'd carry him on his back to the other side. 'No' said the frog, 'you'll sting me half way across'... 'No way' said the scorpion, 'if I sting you we both would die'... The frog, against his better judgement, began to carry the scorpion on his back and all went well until they were almost to the other bank. Then the scorpion sunk his stinger deep into the frog's side. 'Why did you do that', asked the frog. 'I couldn't help myself' was the scorpion's response... and both parties were impacted. In my opinion, the reason it's mostly the same folks posting is because some people just don't care enough to engage. What kind of threads would it take to get other folks involved? I do agree that the personal banter is just not constructive. It's more destructive! Just asking? |
