In our area of the country, the Florida Panhandle, Alabama and Georgia DT Express has to be the top dog. This is a Major caliber team with power, base hitting, defense and a Major + shortstop. Dollar Bill, Scotty, Chip and a few others can bomb.

Swarm, JR and Doc's can all get it done, at times.

Unfortuneately these teams don't get to see any West Coast, South Florida and Yankees until Dalton. Let's see if they can hold their own against the 50AAA teams from these areas.

Would love to see one of these teams get hot an win the SPA National Tournament.

perly, I just tried to look these teams up on the ratings tab but I cannot locate them. I will put the kiss of death on my fellow Pittsburgh boys and go with the Hawk's Nest. I believe that they will be going to Dalton in a couple of weeks and should fair well. They will never rollover and die. Thanks Harry

K Sheeran/Polyviou Dental out of Detroit area is avery good 50 AAA team. They won the Northern Regionals pretty handly. They have a very fast outfield and a good infield. Dont hit alot of HR's but will easily score 20 runs a game. Would give anyone in the country a run for their money!

K Sheeran is as good as any team we played this year, including a couple Major teams in mixed brackets. We cruised through our other bracket games at Lansing, but couldn't get past them. In the first game there were almost no easy outs. Solid base hits and home runs when called for, plus great defense. Their second baseman put on a highlight reel performance against us. We traded leads with them a few times in the championship game, but in the end they didn't have to bat in the 7th.

Here in the East Coast I believe that we have few very good ones...Eagle Tile, Pill & Pill, Carolina A's. Those will be my choices...of course I could include ILA 50 we won Loudon Cty but have only play one more AAA tourney and did not do that well...not enough sampling to include us there. In reality it all boils down to whom it gets hot at the right time and plays defense. Hope our coach put us on the TOC that will be a very good indication...we are not going to the SPA Nationals...Hint, Hint.

Here's another vote for K Sheeran/Polyviou. They are one of the best teams we have faced all year.

Carolina A's are a very good team. We split with them in Manassas. Pill-Pill was there as well, but did not have the opportunity to see them play.

Renda Roads is a very good team. Won the tourney that weekend and deservedly so. We split with them, but they won the one that mattered. Congrats to Renda Roads!

Marty I do think that you guys did an excellent job but don't think the term "cruised" would be appropriate in how you made it to the final game. I do recall Universal giving you some worries and if I recall it went to the final inning with you winning by only a couple or three runs? Just saying. You guys going to the worlds this year?
