Probably Thursday afternoon/evening if all goes according to plan ... A little glitch in the late recognition that OKI was in the tournament (see related thread) ... The schedules will be available here within 5 minutes of getting final approval from Terry and Fran ... When you see them, that means they are done! ...

Dave is getting ready to give his memorized run-down of the complete schedule for Session #1 in the meeting room at the headquarters hotel at the moment (7:08pm PDST). I'm guessing we could see a schedule for session #3 early Friday morning, or maybe not!

I will be very surprised if Desperadoes from N. Mexico do not win it all. What a past year they have had winning TOC- Reno and Spring Classic. A great bunch of guys with lots of talent. Hope we do not draw then early. See you 55's on the field AAA. Gary Ingle

Sheesh, Gary-I just get done on another thread talking about what a great bunch of guys you are and you put a Bullseye on our backs!! LOL
This division looks to be so balanced that there can't be a true favorite. We have played at least 10 of the teams listed and all I can say is it will be who gets hot at the right times, who gets the big hit and makes the great plays, who gets the flip at the right time, basically-anybody could win it.
We plan on having fun, competing, and drinking beer after the games and anyone is welcome to join us to down a couple after we play.

Sorry about that Mark- Not meant as a bullseye just admeration for a very good team who I enjoy playing against. You are right talent alone does not win Championships small breaks, Inches, even keeping head when things appeard bad make the smallest difference between winning and losing. Be safe driving here and look to see you at park my friend. GI

Gary, you forgot to mention Southwest Championship in Laughlin, I know I would remember who beat me for the Championship. CJ's came from the losers bracket winnig games by 1 run to make it to the championship. Mark, I agree with you, the team that gets hot & stays hot will win this tournament. I wish that Senior Softball would keep track of the H/Rs that are hit. Championships in AAA are won by base hits & defense, don't let H/Rs take the fun out of the game. ShaneV, I like the order you have the 22 teams, as long as we finish 1st, let the rest fight it out.

gee, and we were planning to sneak up on the field if we could. All kidding aside, this is an incredibly competitive division. This is what senior ball is all about! Lets have fun!! Travel safely and we'll see you next week.

Just an alpha list once again. I always hated alpha with the last name Verley!!!

The long hours and hard work by our SSUSA make this happen, a division of 22 teams about as evenly matched as you could get. Ratings are critical to making this World Event about as fair and fun as possible, where anyone could get hot, get a couple breaks and win! And for future competition in 55AAA, the world champ (and runner-up maybe) will be "gone" (Major) November 1st, and 2012 can begin! Another key to ratings and even competition.

I'm a little surprised we still don't have schedules. I'm sure they're on it and we'll have it later tonight or by noon tomorrow. Three of us are flying Wednesday and at least one of our guys is already there!

Links for 50 (all) and 55 (all) have been updated to include the last 3 divisions (50AA, 55AAA & 55AA) though it isn't obvious.
