55AAA results worlds
I was wondring if anyone knew who finished in top 3 in 55 AAA? Thanks it was a hot weekend but enjoyed even if CJS Express could not play as well as we should have. GI

Mark you 55 guys from New Mexico are really a class act. Even though you beat us and I could not get you out even with a 14 foot pitch a foot outside in the sun you still hit it out. Hope you made it home ok and I look forward to seeing you guys again. Bless you GI

GI-also enjoyed playing you guys, as usual-competitive but I think we all enjoyed it. I could not believe the umpire called that one a strike before that-you hit about 16 feet with the first one-illegal, and then 15 feet for a strike. Maybe the idea is to lure the umpire with a pitch so high that the next 15 footer looks legal!!! lol
Gary, The last 6 were Titans, Bay State, ODB, Drillers, CC, and Prudential-Omaha.
Thanks for the good wishes-will we see you in Vegas??

Some great softball guys. Wish we had 17 there. Might have given Bay State Bombers a closer game. We had what we had and it wasn't enough. You've got some great hitters and very good, balanced defense. Great to meet you guys as well!

Way to battle Prudential, CC Over and ODB! And contratulations Titans, Bay State and Drillers.

One of the things I appreciate the most about Worlds, besides spending quality time with my favorite guys, and the weather, is the number of equally rated teams we have the opportunity to compete with. I wish you all could come to Lacey, WA mid-summer so we could have our very own 22 team tournament. What a blast that would be!

Time to shuffle the deck and deal some new hands, while resting and catching up with life.

Hi Sam:

This is James the catcher and #3 hitter for the Sigello/Jones team. we had some fun games this year and you have a great group of guys. Almost every game we played this year could have went either way until the last inning. You guys should come up to Washington next year and play at the RAC in one of Shane's tournaments.
This was a very well ran tournament and the grounds keepers and umpires did a nice job. I did not expect the infields to be as nice as they were. A bad hop was a rare happening.

That Bay State team is very strong top to bottom. They spanked us bad in the National Championship game. They were just the better team and deserved the win. Great job to all of them.

Thanks James we had a great weekend as a team. We actually played our buts off. It was great meeting you guys and having the pleasure of playing you for the USA game. I am the coach Paul. Good luck going forward and maybe we can get to WA for one of Shane's tourneys.

As soon as I know tournament dates for 2012 I'll post them on the message board. Anyone who would like to plan a team trip to Washington around one of the dates, I'd be glad to assist. There is much to see and Lacey is in the middle of it all! Bing or Google any of these for an idea of the sights.

Hey to all you guys-was great seeing all of you last weekend. I enjoyed talking to all of you and putting faces to the names here. You guys are right about the either way-all of our games were that way too. That's what it is all about. Are you guys going to be in Vegas next month?
A big congratulations to Bay State-welcome to Majors! You guys have sure done well and deserved to win! Congratulations also to the Titans and our friends the Drillers from El Paso.

Hi Webbie:

We (Sigello/Jones) are not going to Vegas. Do they get many 55AAA teams at this event? It does sound like a good tourney.

Thanks:

James

Hi Paul0 (Bay State), just wanted to say congrats to you and all my buddies on The Bombers...Great win, especially against so many highly competative teams that comprised the bracket. I also want to welcome you in joining us on the Perpetual Trophy, truley an outstanding feat. A bit sad that you'll be leaving our division, but I'm sure your team will be sucessful there as well.
Also want to toss out a Big hello to Webbie25, always a pleasure to chat with you and your talented Desperado's...(.p.s I think I'm still Sunblind from field #3 on Sat afternoon...lol) We had a blast playing the Titans, Drillers and O.D.B.. all 3 were extremly talented and classy teams...Ground Crew did a SUPER JOB on all the fields, and kudo's to all the Directors on coriographing such a well run tourny without any snags. Good Luck to all...Richie B....Mgr. N.Y Motion.

Thanks Rich for the kind words. We will miss playing you guys also but look forward to see what the new group of teams have to offer us. We had a great weekend playing some of the best teams in the country. Still basking in the glory I guess. Now trying to put together a team for Florida(TOC)? Take care and see you in the forums...

Hey Richie-thanks for the kind words about our team. We are also sunblind from Sunday mornings game-lol
James-I don't remember how big the division was, but am sure it was well into double figures for Vegas last year-rooms are cheap, too-29 at the Fitzgerald.
Paul-are we going to see you at the TOC?-We want to play you again-once for real in the bracket play (didn't we just play a pool game last year?) if you make it before you disappear into the big beyond of Major and see our friends R&R.
The Desperados also wish to convey their thanks to the groundskeepers-every game they did their magic and it was appreciated. And SSUSA did a great job running it. That's a heck of a lot of teams!! Thanks!!

Thanks James I'll run that by ODB and see what we come up with. I'll also be looking for the info on the message board. We have had 5 very different but the same games. It always came down to the last innging and whom ever had the hammer usually won. You and your team are a class group and we look forward to playing you again.

Webbie we actually played you twice last year. We beat you in the round robin and lost to you in the finals of the winners bracket. So, we would like the chance to redeem ourselves from that. Look forward to playing you guys, you are a measuring tool for us to see how good we are. Hopefully we can field a competitive team there. Have yourself some great holidays and eat plenty of turkey and fixings. Hoping to see you guys in Feb.

Senior moment Paul-We did play you twice-sorry.
Unbelievable that we are a measuring tool for you-we feel the same about you, OBD, R&R, CJ&S, and so many other teams. There is just not an easy game out there. That's what makes it fun. Let's have a beer in Vegas!!

Webbie and all it was an interesting weekend for most of us here in PHX area. Drillers must have really brought it on. We played them 1st game of RR and they scored 5 runs in 1st inning and 0 runs next 6 innings and we won 6-5. Must have been the pitchers HA. I always enjoy seeing many of you on the field. Webbie thank goodness I lost 35 pounds to catch or knock down those line drives your guys hit up the middle. Your guys continue to be a class act and I tell them it is part of the game. Lots of fun and what if's. What a blessing to just be on the field playing. I want to give a special thanks to CEO Terry H. for taking time out of his wild week and letting me give him a tour of Sunshine Acres Children's Home In mesa. God has blessed this home and 1700 childrens have been raised there in last 57 years with no help from state or Gov't. A true MIRICLE . Thanks again Terry. I will be missing 1st day of Vegas winter worlds to help run the charity golf tournamnt for the home. I hope to see 55 AAA with our CJS Express team on Sat.Shane V. My son lives In Olimpia Wa. so I know that is close to you.I look forward to starting new year and see if we can change the WHAT IF'S. Hugs to all, Gary Ingle

Hey Corky-look forward to it. Reid throws more gopher balls than a politician has lies. And that's a lot. He's the reliever we put in when home runs are gone for the other team!!!!!
