| Oct. 26, 2011 Jack Men's 55 462 posts | Action and team pictures from the Worlds in Phoenix I took over 20,000 pictures, I am working on getting them on the web site. I am doing them in the order I took them. If anyone calls or emails me requesting their pictures I will jump ahead and get them on the site. It's snowing here today!! What a change. | Oct. 28, 2011 Jack Men's 55 462 posts | yes I was at Papago during that time, but I must have missed you. I have finished your age group so I did not get your team. I am not sure yet were I am going. They have not told me yet if I'm going to Vegas or Ft Myers or both. Make sure you call me and I will find you team and make up for not getting you. Fastsam, I am just starting on the 50 and 55's. Sorry but what does ODB stand for? Keep an eye out. I just finished the 65 through 80's just now and I am starting on the 50 & 55's. I am taking a break now and will be back at it in a few hours. Each game takes me between 1 hour and 3 hours to get processed. Thanks, Jack |

Big John in left could not believe that ball was not in his glove-he looked 3 times during the set of pics. Carl has played some great third base, but not that time. The looks on his face! | Nov. 17, 2011 Wayne 37 Men's 65 773 posts | @Bobby, I just turned 57. I was actually a pickup player from the rec league the Spurs play in in Richardson. Played with and against all on the team except one maybe. I am trying to hook up with them in 2012 as they are going to dump a few of the unreliable players. I was one of the original Silverbacks in 50AAA. I only played a 1/2 season then because of injury and illnesses. When Dr. Doug took over, he pretty much gutted the whole team except for maybe two players. I don't know if some the Texas Legends are still going to form teams/team since Tony passed away. I play with a few of the Legends on Thursday nights. Phoenix was the first SPA tournament I had played in since the annual qualifier at Kiest about three years ago. I had a freakin' blast to say the least. If I can't play with the Spurs, maybe I could hook up with a team that plays all the Texas/Oklahoma tourneys. I could probably play in all the Nationals, depending on my situation at the time. If you know anybody out there looking for a player that's dependable, mention to them about me. I show up, I pay, and still has a pretty decent set of skills. At least I think so........LOL To me it is all about having fun and competition. Look forward to hopefully seeing you around the tourneys. |
