Third Baseman
We are looking for a third baseman for 2012. We are a very competitive 55 Major team in Northern Cal that has been established for over 10 years. We usually play 8 to 10 Nor Cal tournaments and 3 to 4 larger including Rock N Reno, Cal Cup, Western World and Worlds. Don't care about power but need to have the glove. If you are looking to step up to major this is the team. No sponsor, split costs of intry fees.

What are the rules for a player that is under 50 as I am 47 and everyone loves me at 3rd base as I get phone calls all the time and asking me to come play. As for the senior tournament I have no idea about the rules so you are gonna have to tell me about it..

You have to turn 50 in the calendar year in which you are going to play. You are not elgible to play until then.

Hey d45, I guess that I gonna have to wait in 3 years to play in the senior ball.. As of now, not one frickin player that asking for player in the 40+ to play which is kinda sad. As they all do is read this forum crap and don't call.. I am making myself available for them and basically they are scare to find out if I can play or not.. jeez I am heck of a ball player as I won't disappoint them. I guess I will just keep playing u-trip ball till I am 50 years old then jump on the bandwagon to play senior ball. Thanks for the reply...

desert,i'm am sure you are a very good ballplayer and fearless at 3rd.your last post was a little too strong for most managers looking for a player.if i was looking for a player your age, i would not have replied to your post. you came across arogant and full of yourself. most mgrs. are looking for TEAM PLAYERS.if you tone it down, post once a week, and be patient,i believe your opportunity will come.best of luck to you, dennis.
