Ross, I personally do not like the new rules as far as Major+ goes. See the list for their Jan tourney and the only Major teams that are sign up are listed Major+ in the other organizations. Do not like to waste my money like that. We also lost Billy C and Tom T to Turn Two. I know about all the arguments about playing the best etc.I like the equalizer rule and when it is done away with there is little chance of winning. Just my opinion. If we vote to play then I will play but I vote no. Thanks Harry #20

We played in Manassas this year and were the only M+ team in the 65s. We were classed as Major and played against the 60 AAA teams. There were some very good AAA teams in the group, one of which (Hawks Nest) won and is now 60 Major. The Stahl Post 60s team was also very good. They beat us all 3 of our losses.

kbl, Click on the Ratings tab on the above menu bar and you will find that the Hawks Nest 60s from Irwin, PA were moved to Major on Sept 1, 2011 by SSUSA. The same team was re-classed Major by SPA on June 30, 2011. This information is from the respective websites.

Larry and Ken. The ISSA did away with their Major Plus ratings. They only have Major now. Thanks Harry

My team was moved up to 65AAA mid year last year. We tried taking the 5 runs in some games and the xtra fielder in other games vs major and major+ teams. We found we could compete much closer with the a middle fielder (11th) guy taking away the middle.
