MEXICAN AMERICAN PRESIDENT
I wonder if the Republicans will vote the first Mexican American into the White House, once they find out Romney's race background. I find this to be very interesting that his race has never being an issue, or brought up. Bill Richardson never hide it, Why Romney does? What do you guys think? Personally I do not care but find it fascinating!!!

Perhaps it is fascinating, but like you I couldn't care less. Hopefully few others do as well.

Not saying Romney is or isn't my choice, but race should be a non-factor in all of this.

Oh, and why would he be a "Mexican American"? I am not a European American, but just a plain ole U.S. citizen.

That's a real stretch Paco. His natural born USA Grandfather lived in Mexico by choice. Mitt's dad was born there. That doesn't make him one tiny bit Mexican. One of Richardson's parents was of Mexican heritage. This really is an apple and orange thing. The better question is why are we negotiating with the Taliban for the release of prisoners that killed Americans. My vote is A.B.O. and I can't wait until this national nightmare is over.

Oh heck Marv, we just had convicted murderers of Americans pardoned in Mississippi. It is whacky all over.

I agree. Maybe Barber had a Rose Bird and Jerry Brown moment. Those two individuals are responsible for Charlie Manson getting 3 hots and a cot instead of his body rotting in the ground like it should have been in the court decision. Wacky maybe but not as wacky as the land of fruits and nuts :0)

#19, them Biden should tell the Army that. My son is being deployed to Afghanistan in March for that very reason.

Marv, sad that we have to discuss different degrees of whackiness.

Romney's ethnicity may be Mexican but his race is white. That's is one of the major problems with America today. No one wants to be just an American.

personally, i would not vote for romney strictly because he has a hispanic background. you vote for the man and his principles and his intentions or agenda in trying to improve the economy and leading the country as was intended by the forefathers in writing the constitution. he is not my man, but if it boils down to romney vs the current occupier, then it is romney. i am tired of the political pandering towards any group, period. i am proud of my hispanic background but i am an american first and foremost, i may catch hell for this, but if a war broke out between the U.S. and mexico, i will not be wearing a sombrero.
