Warm-Up Tourney in Birmingham, Alabama
Thankfully, the time is almost here. Our tourney on Saturday, Feb. 25, has 12 teams. They are: Huffman Electric 65's, Bham 65's, Ga/Al Masters 60's, Strykers 60's, Bham 55's, The Swarm 55's, Atlanta Recycling 55's, Longshots 50's, J.R. Smith 50's, Southern Elite 50's, and Pursuit Channel 50's.

1/1 count, no extra foul; 5 homeruns, then singles; 5 runs per inning, last open. We will hit Classic M (USSSA) softball, 40 cor. 375 comp.

entry fee is $200, includes umpires and 6 softballs.

Info: Steve 205-647-2881 Thanks

Obviously, I cannot count very well. The Memphis Edge 60's rounds out the twelve teams.

If other teams care to enter, there is still time and room for you. Just give me a call.

steve using the classic M ball in cool weather(anything under 65 degrees) is harder on the bats than any of the other balls.just saying.....

Hey Bob, thanks for your concern. My standing rule for the tourney is that we will not play under 50 degrees. With that in mind, no one will use their senior bats.

The park where we are playing is a U-trip park and that is about the only ball available. It is 375comp, 40 cor. Everyone seems to be happy with it, at least thus far! The fences are 300 or less so the homeruns fly frequently.

SOUNDS GOOD.YA CAN'T USE YOUR OWN BALL? A 44 BALL WOULD GIVE ALL OF THAT AND BE A LITTLE EASIER ON THE BATS.WELL ANYWAYS SOUND LIKE YOU GUYS HAVE A GOOD TIME,WISH I WAS CLOSE ENOUGH TO COME AND PLAY ALSO.....I LIKE TO HIT AGAINST THAT HITMAN GUY(GA/AL MASTERS),HE THROWS REAL NICE COOKIES.... LOL....

There you go doggie-po, stiring the pot and begging for cookies. Well I ate all my cookies before the games at the TOC so I didn't have any to pass out. DOH LOL
Now Ron hit the cookie bag hard!!!!!!!!!!

Wish you could have been there and froze your a** off like the rest of us.

Jim, this "controversy" cannot be allowed to continue. We need to find out if there is some kind of intervention program out in Texas for Bob. His cookie fixation is going to be the end of him! But at least he likes your pitching!

Bob, I am sincerely delighted to hear that you have sought assistance. However, I do question the wisdom of your selection. In my opinion, "Mr." C. Monster appears to be more of an enabler instead of someone who will offer encouragement.

Wish I could attend the CST; thankfully, we have some warm weekends, so some BP has been accomplished.

Perhaps your good friend, Jim, will be able to offer some enlightenment!

ya know, for a 50 dollar bill, dozens of grandkids of your TOC directors would be more than happy to post DAILY results of all games. it is absolutely DUMB-DUMB-DUMB that i probably won't see all results until the middle of march.to not use this wonderful communications network is probably a confessable sin!!!

My team doesn't plan on playing so if anyone is short of a player tell Steve to give me a call. I play 60's but for this tourney age doesn't matter as much. Practice tourney. The ball carries well. I hope everyone passes a good time at the park.
