bats
I would like to know if the miken ultras or the reebok melees that you see on anaconda sports, kellys or direct sports are 2012 models or 2011 models? If they are 2011 models then are 2012 models available and if so where?

I can vouch for MrBill. Been using the REV-D since they came out in 2007, excellent shoe.

zonk, the rev d's are real heavy compared the the mizuno blasts.also i have found that the tanel shoes clog up on the bottom in wet weather or fields....i do have a pair(only b/c i found them on ebay for $25)and use them for practice, but game time i use the mizuno's.....also my D's are ripping on top near the toe, mesh has come loose from the leather there........

cat: I have been helping players with their Reebok needs for over 2 years. Senior players know me. I am accountable and provide what I feel is the best customer service. I have 1E's and those are as new as it gets. Let me know your thoughts and thanks for the opportunity to help you now and in the future.

mad dog: Could have been a bad pair. I use the high tops. I have had none of the problems that you did. I get at least one season ~ 250 games from one pair. Since the Mizunos work for you, obviously go with them.

Anybody have any input or knowledge about the Bass Crippler Senior bat? It's lime green in color.

MurrayW: No change that I am aware of. To make absolutely certain, I am emailing my engineering contacts and if I learn differently, I will let you know.

I just Purchased a Reebok Melee 28oz EL from Anaconda
late 2011 edition..2nd swing 300ft Line Drive..took about 20 swings with it and at least 10 over 320ft mark..so yes Hot out of the wrapper..I always used the Grey Combat "Dabomb" 28 oz EL and The Reebok seems to hit a bit better. NO Paint chipping at this point.

Murray: There are no changes to our Reebok bats for 2012. The important care practices for the high performance composite bats such as ours, is not to hit with them in cold temps (below 65 degrees). I suggest using a good ASA bat for BP and/or early morning use, like our Vector-O. I live in cold country and use my Vector for all BP and cold temperatures. The Vector is the same bat technology as our Melee but with a thicker wall on the barrel. Mine has over 1,000 hits on it and getting better.

Thanks Ed. I'll be calling you in a few days to order another Melee. Does the Vector-O come in an end loaded model also?
