Discussion: Grey Ultra 2 bat

I own and know the black U2 is balanced the red U2 is end loaded what is the grey u2 and does it out hit the others. I was told by a salesmen from direct sports that they may be more durable than the other two bats. I am new to senior softball . Could someone please advise.

Only in my opinion, the salesman told you wrong! The grey UII has 1/2 the endload the red one has. Neither the red nor the grey last as long as the black one from what I've seen.
I assume by grey you are not talking about a bat they made a few years back, he UII Legacy. It is also grey and will last a lot longer than other UII's.
There are two gray Ultra II's. The half end-loaded gray was made two years ago and is now discounted and no longer being made. The new Made-in-USA gray is a lighter color and balanced Ultra II.
Thank you all for the feedback I am learning a lot from this site.

I'm looking for a balanced 26oz Ultra II ... Any of these out there?

#19,
You are always welcome to swing mine...............would consider selling it, but if I did, you would be the "only" one I would sell it too.
Thank you #6 ... I'll take you up on your offer until I'm able to catch up with Corky.
You have always hit well with it..............
The UII Legacy (grey was made in 2007. The new grey one 2001/2012 has USA as part of the label design. Just adding as info if this wasn't stated already
I have a grey ultra velocite-e but cannot find legacy written anywhere on the bat.........the end of the barrel has "special edition" are they one and the same. This bat has lasted longer than any other senior bat I've had.
