| April 8, 2012 bernie Men's 55 77 posts | City of Wilkes Barre PA Summer Classic , Bigger and Better The City of Wilkes Barre Summer Classic is gearing up for the second year now event with expanded facilities and new partners, the Mohegan Sun Casino at Pocono Down Raceway and Gus Gennetti's Best Western in Downtown Wilkes Barre, both close to the action on the fields. Wilkes Barre is located in Northeast PA less than two hours from New York City, Philadelphia Harrisburg and Syracuse, and less than three hours from Hartford, Baltimore and Washington DC. The dates are June 28th thru July 1, 2012 with 65 and 70 teams playing Thursday/Friday and the 50, 55 and 60's playing on Saturday/Sunday.
