Brickyard 2012
It is that time of year. Spring training is over. The Indiana seniors are back from FLA, and the first senior softball tournament on Indy is less than a month away. Does it get any better than this until the first pitch?

I just spoke with him a couple of weeks ago and he didn't mention that he had quit smoking. I will have to give him a hard time, but I think I will wait a couple of weeks following Corky's advice. Mel you coming out to Reno this year?
Nancy good luck on the tournament and hope to see you around this year.

Hi Steven, Please accept my personal congratulations on your induction. I'm playing with The US.Jobs 65's this year, and I'm not sure if we're coming to Reno or Las Vegas yet. Are you planning any trips in this direction? Warmest regards, Mel

Mel I was hoping to get to play in the ISA in Columbus but not sure that is going to happen. Hope to see you at one of the tournaments this year. I've moved to Scottsdale so if you get around town call me. Corky the tales we could tell and you are correct that we are lucky to be alive - good memories. Butch will always have the coffee with him. Nancy wish I could play in the Brickyard so many friends and fellow ballplayers I haven't seen for many years. Have a great tournament and hopefully it will stay dry for you.

Lemons, the 65s will play Friday and Saturday; all others will play Saturday and Sunday. The brackets will not be drawn up until after the entry cut-off which is the 20th.

Steve, I sure wish that you could be here with all of us. You know that Coachie misses you most of all.

I just got an E-mail flyer about the Michigan senior olympics (7/27 - 29) to qualify for the national senior olympics in 2013 in Cleveland if anybody wants it.

Same bat time, same bat station.
