You are correct. One of the best ASA certified bats and can be had at some great prices. Search Evil bats

I purchased the salvo for a local senior league that only allows ASA approved bats. I've had it for 5 months now and am very pleased with it. Solid line drives, a good feel when the bat makes contact, and respectable distance for an ASA bat. It's not going to compare to any of the senior bats, but still is a great bat with good pop. You can find the Salvo on Ebay for $152 with free shipping and it comes with a 400 day warranty!

OK it is too early in season to tell. I've been playing in one senior league in Northeast Ohio that allows composite bats and have gone through my share of Mikens the past few seasons. I still play in that league and in AAA SSUSA/SPA/ISA tournaments.

I started playing in an additional senior league this year that plays with dead balls and only bats with ASA 2000 or 2004 stamp on it. The league's illegal bat spread sheet is lengthy and confusing.

Spoke to some guys who said to get the Salvo.

SO I did, and after first few games of the league season, am very happy with it. Is it a Miken? NO.

After only 10 at bats in league play with Salvo, not sure if any long balls are going to go, and this league is notorious for not having many home runs. BUT, I did use it in batting practice in my composite bat league and hit multiple long balls over the fence with it.

I think the Salvo is a good, worthy bat!!!!
