DeMarini The One Senior
Wondering how many swings does it take to break in the one senior bat. Does this bat have any webbing when it starts breaking in.

I know nothing about this bat, for what it is worth the 2013 model (yellow) just went on sale on ebay. My guess is that the blue one will be much cheaper soon.

Swing, sorry it is yellowish lime green. Please keep us posted on progress. Alan said get hot then broke quickly respecting the 2012. How are these bats being broken in? Alan and Kevin suggested a specific 75 swing method see other discussion.

so far HJ one of our guys has 200 swings on it... he's been hitting the Rock balls with it and it has no stress cracks yet! He seems to like it... I don't see it opening up yet and He said hit white combat had more pop at this point... I am waiting to see if it opens up how long it will hold up..it is a 30 ounce bat also so in might take longer. Another one of our guys was hitting a 26 and he loves it.. I will see if he hits it in Reno and give update he swings the same Reebok that I do normally.

Miken44, is your bat the blue 2012 or the yellow 2013? Critical since some think the 2012 has durability issues.

I have about 100 swings on my blue senior one and it has a 1 inch crack or it is a paint crack. It hits well at the moment.

we broke three blues during the first 50 swings
last year.. we have a rep on our team so we get them to try out.... The lime green 2012 held up for more swings but I suspect when it opens up it cracks right away. I will stick to my Rebok's

I picked up one of the 2012 blue Senior One bats from bats unlimited for $119. I have about 150 swings on it and there is not much paint left on the barrel, but there is no stress cracking and the performance is very good. I suggest if you do purchase one go heavier than you usually swing. The bat swings very light. Not a bad deal.

I hit my teammates 28 this weekend in batting practice and it was hitting the ball as far as my Reebok. The only difference was the sweet spot size and the vibration you get when you don't hit it on the screws... IMO

I hit again today with the lime One and it is a great bat.. it was out hitting my Rebook 28 that has 100 swings on it... I'm going to order one for the arsenal... the one I swung today has 250 swings on it... We were hitting the rock balls today and it's holding up! I will be swinging these and my rebook rest of the year! Looks like Demarini has made a very very competitive bat!
