| May 29, 2012 Corky Men's 55 451 posts | Johnny....just got a call from a coach who was a little disgruntled about the tournament format(4 game RR)....I hope it was just because of the number of teams in their respective Div. Since I didn't see the brackets (that are usually posted on this site)I began to wonder about the turnout for this tournament.......We were led to believe that the demand to get in was high, thus insuring the usual 2 or 3 game RR seeding for the 2 game elim. bracket format...We were pressed to get our team in a Tourney a few weeks ago that ended up having only 3 teams. ??? |

I know you; so it is OK if you want to call me out on here instead of dialing me, but please don't call Johnny out by name here. Your concerns may be valid and are voiced here, but she is running a tournament and is dealing with the coaches as she should. There are not very many of us girls in men's senior softball; so we are a little protective of each other. I am hoping to come down Sunday, but I want to wish everyone good luck and more good weather this weekend. Corky, give Johnny a hug, and stay away from the river. If you want LOTS of competition, let's talk about getting a Brickyard team to Rock 'n Reno next year. I will even help your coach out with it if you want to play in a world class tournament. Yes, I wish that I was there now. |

Don't get your shorts all up in a knot. didn't find out until last night at ISP that they were finally up on the board. |
